Granddam is  the Dutch Champion mare Welena VDL. Welena was as a 3 year old Dutch Champion Freejumping. She is mother of the Grand Prix jumper Celena VDL. Under Marlon Modolo Zanotelli she won the Grand Prix of Samorin and Valkenswaard and she was winner of the Nations Cup of Samorin. Beside that they won two big international classes at Rome and Valkenswaard, they placed 2nd in the Grand Prix Vilamoura and were 3rd in the World Cup class at Helsinki.
Grandmother is European Champion mare Helena (by Ahorn). This mareline has produced several international tophorses like Southwind VDL, Pan Am VDL, Onatello VDL, Everest, Glennride, Arkansas and the Champion of the KWPN Stallionshow Freeman VDL, who now competes at 1.40m level with Jur Vrieling.
