Promise Me (Lauriston x Ahorn), who is bred at the VDL Stud, was with his rider Ian Millar 2nd in the Grand Prix of Wellington, he earned $ 22.000 dollar with this price. He was also succesfull with the Canadian team, they won the Samsung Nations Cup of Wellington.  Glasgow (by Emillion) and his rider Norman Della Joio were 2nd with the USA-team. In this Cup were only 2 horses who made a double clear round, Lorenzo (by Good Times), ridden by A. Michan from Mexico, was on of these 2 horses.
