The approved stallion Santa Cruz VDL (Corland x Ramiro) became vice-Champion at the Scandinavian Open Championships for 6-years old jumphorses. This Championship was held during the International Horseshow of Falsterbo in Sweden. Santa Cruz VDL, ridden by Jens Fredricson, was clear in the jump-off and made a time that was good enough for the 2nd place. Santa Cruz is bred by mr. Hazenberg from Opende and now owned by mr. T. Fredricson, K & E Zachrisson and the VDL Stud. Third in this championship was the son of Quite Easy 'QL', ridden by Angelie von Essen and 5th was the Cardento-mare Classic Lady, ridden by Svante Johansson.

The approved stallion VDL Al Cantino (Ahorn x Langraf I) was succesful in the Championship of the 7- and 8-years old jumphorses. With a clear round in the jump-off he received the 3rd place with his rider Peter Eriksson.
