The Indoctro-son Richmond Hill became Vice-Champion at the 7 years old World Championship in Lanaken. With his rider Mans Buurman he became two times second and had one time fault in the jump off. Richmond Hill is bred by Mr. and Mrs. Agema from Noordhorn. VDL Rina BD (Indorado x Emilion) became 9th in this final. VDL Rina BD is ridden by Dennis van Tilburg and bred by the Family Dirksen from Hattum.

VDL horses were also very succesfull in the semi-finals. In the class of the 5 years old was the 4th place for VDL Torlando (Corland x Indoctro), ridden by Dennis van Tilburg. The Wellington-mare Sangria became with rider Erik Kruizinga the 3rd place in the class of the 6-years old horses. The stallion VDL Clapton (Carentino x Landgraf I), ridden by Dennis van Tilburg, became 5th. The Corland mare VDL Rocksina (Corland x Emilion) was 10th with rider Angelique Hoorn in the class of the 7 years old jumphorses.
