2 VDL horses are now official selected for the World Equestrian Games 2006 at Aachen: Pessoa VDL and VDL Cardento.

VDL Cardento (Capitol I x Lord) will compete for the Swedish National team and will be ridden by peter Erikkson. The aproved stallion already performed very well at the big International shows: he was winner of the Silver Team  Medal at the Olympics in Athene, the World Championship and the European Championship.

Pessoa VDL (Animo x Zancara f. Nimmerdor) is competing for the Brasilian National team with his rider Vitor Teixera. Pessoa VDL is a young stallion which is bred and raised at the VDL Stud. Pessoa VDL is also approved as an breedingstallion.
