VDL Empire wins at CSI Veendam

The Emilion-son VDL Empire was very succesfull at the CSI of Veendam. With his rider Niklas Arvidsson VDL Empire won the 1.40m class on Friday and in the Grand Prix on Saturday he placed 8th. There were more offspring of VDL stallions succesfull in the Grand Prix of Veendam:

  • The Corland-mare Sensation, ridden by Suzanne Tepper, placed 2nd on Thursday and 4th in the Grand Prix.
  • The Corland-mare HBC Dancing Queen, ridden by Julia Kayser, placed 9th on Thursday, 9th in a 1.35 m class on Friday and was 5th in the Grand Prix.
  • The Indorado-son Heechhiems Sprintime, ridden by Nathalie van der Mei,  placed 9th in the Grand Prix. He was also placed 4th in the 1.35 m class on Friday. Second place in this class was VDL Unique Star (by Quick Star), ridden by Claus Beishuizen.

The final of the 1.30 m class was won by the Corland-mare Heechhiem's Tersina, ridden by Nathalie van der Meij. There was a  7th place for VDL Titanic (by Neckar), ridden by Stephanie Holmen.
