The Worldchampion Westpoint (Jazz x Michelangelo) is sold to the stables of mr. Broere at Alblasserdam. Westpoint was owned by VDL and the family Jespers from Prinsenbeek. They bought the beautifull stallion when he was 2 years old at the Stallion Selections. There he became reserve-Champion and in the same year he became Champion of the Stalliontest. After that Westpoint moved to Laarakkers Stables and was ridden in competition by Emmelie Scholtens. They were very succesfull and they won the following titles: as a 4 years old Westpoint was Dutch Champion and as a 5 years old he was the reserve-Champion. They also were 2nd in the KWPN Stallion competition and this year they were provincial Champion at the Z2 dressage class. After winning in Verden there was a lot of interest for Westpoint. VDL and Jespers decided to sell Westpoint to mr. Broere so he will be available in Holland for Sport and Breeding. The new rider of Westpoint will be Kirsten Beckers.
