Atlantic VDL deceased earlier this week, probably caused by a hart-attack. He was 19-years old. Atlanic VDL was stationed in at the Breeding stud Keros in Belgium.

Atlantic VDL achieved many successes with his riders Jur Vrieling and Wout Jan van der Schans. He was provincial champion at 1.30m level and also Dutch Champion at 1.30m level. He became champion of the 6-year old showjumpers at the Bundeschampionat and reserve champion at the Dutch Championship in the 1.35m competition.

His international career was very successful. He won the Grand Prix of Frankfurt and was placed in several other Grand Prix’s: 2nd Sires of the World in Lanaken, 2nd in Villach, 2nd in Gera, 5th in Bordeax, Best Stallion in Zwolle and 7e at the World Cup in Vigo

Atlantic VDL had two KWPN approved son: Vegas and Val D’Isere and his daughter Uleika competed at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky.


Atlantic VDL
