The Canadian Warmblood horse Belmont (Ahorn x Simply Irresistible) has received the Canadian Bred Horse of the Year Award. Belmont is bred by Nikki Lishman and the gelding is very succesfull in sport with his American rider Laura Kraut . They achieved some great results together  like winning the Grand Prix of La Coruna. Last week they placed 9th in the 1.50m Suncast Championship at Wellington in the USA.
