Glasgow van het Merelsnest 2nd in Masters at CSI3* Vestfold

Jur Vrieling also achieved some great results with VDL Stallions during the2nd weekend of the CSI Vestfold. This weekend he competed with Carrera VDL and Glasgow van het Merelsnest VDL.

With Glasgow van het Merelsnest he placed 2nd in the Vestfold Masters. In this class fences were built up to 1.60m.

Carrera VDL competed 3 times in 1.40m and 1.45m classes and jumped all 3 rounds without any poles down. Some timefaults kept him out of prices but the stallion jumped his round easily and fantastic with his new rider Jur Vrieling.

Wiht Campbell VDL (Cassini x Carpaccio), now owned by Stateside Farm, Jur won a 1.30m class. In this class That’s Why (Indoctro x Furore), ridden by Cathrine Jerring placed 7th.

And then there were fantastic results for Benibantos (Cardento x Orlando) and his rider Alireza Famil Bakhtiari from Iran. They placed 4th in the Vestfold Grand prix and 2nd in the Grand Prix qualifier. Benibantos was sold in the Wolden Summer Sale last summer, the auction held during the CSI de Wolden and organized by VDL Stud, HBC Stal and Jan Schep.

Sensation (Corland x Emilion) , ridden by Suzanne Tepper, placed 2nd in a 1.40m class.
