RABAT (MAR) – Maximus Quantum Leap (by Carrera) jumped to third place in the 1.45m Grand Prix, whilst Just The Way (by Zirocco Blue) finished fifth. Earlier in the week, there had already been a victory for Cardento offspring Chasspleen Flamingo Z (by Cardento).
Maximus Quantum Leap (by Carrera) third in 1.45m Grand Prix
Maximus Quantum Leap (by Carrera) put in a strong performance under Colombian rider Santiago Diaz Ortega in the 1.45m CSI2* Grand Prix. The pair remained clear in both the basic course and the jump-off, clocking a fast time of 36.64 seconds. This secured them a fine third place. K.B. Huygen is the breeder of this son of Carrera.
Just The Way (by Zirocco Blue) also secured a place in the Grand Prix. Ridden by the Belgian rider Virginie Thonon, he too remained double clear. With a jump-off time of 37.88 seconds, the pair finished in fifth place. Just The Way was bred by L. van Vegchel.
Victory for Cardento offspring Chasspleen Flamingo Z
Earlier in the week, Chasspleen Flamingo Z (by Cardento) had already enjoyed success. Riden by Santiago Diaz Ortega, the show jumper – bred by A. Rantet – won the 1.40m two-phase class on Thursday 8 October. The pair remained clear in both phases and clocked the winning time of 28.01 seconds.
