Last weekend, the Nations Cup took place at Spruce Meadows in Calgary. Ebanking (by Etoulon), bred by E. Vriend, competed for the English team. The Etoulon son and Joseph Stockdale completed two clear rounds, earning the pair second place in the individual competition.

Fifth place in the Nations Cup went to Belgium, including Lyandro MDB (by Grand Slam) with Thibault Phillippaerts. The Grand Slam son, bred by M. de Boer, managed to remain clear in the second round. On Thursday, the duo already managed to finish third individually in the 1.60m. Fifth place went to the Cardento son Obora's Chrunchy Nut and Markus Saurugg. The Gestüt Obora Cardento has been a strong combination with Markus for many years.

There was even more success for Thibault, as he finished third in the 1.50m on Sunday with Quilano (by Arezzo). The Arezzo son is bred in Belgium by Michel Steyvers.

Finally, on Friday evening, there was the Six Bar jumping competition. Quintin (by Quaprice du Bois Margot) and Vaclav Stanek finished in joint first place. Quintin was sold through the WEF Sport Horse Auction and bred by D. van Tilburg.
