In the 1.45m on 31 May, Sweden's top rider Henrik von Eckermann left no doubt about his form. With the KWPN mare Glamour Girl (by Zirocco Blue VDL), he set a clear round in a sharp time of 36.25 seconds. The combination thus won over €7,000 in prize money. The mare is bred by Stoeterij Gaesbeek VOF from Ruinen (NED).
Double success for Nice Girl Dito FS
Luxembourg's Odile Gierech won twice with 7-year-old Nice Girl Dito FS (by Arezzo VDL). On 29 May, the duo won the 130cm class for 7-year-olds (CSI4*) in 69.59 seconds. Two days later, they repeated that success in the 140 cm class, this time with a clear jump-off in 39.54 seconds. The mare is bred by F.C.W. Slootmans from Aalten (NED).
Bangkok VL wins class for 6-year-olds
There was also success for a VDL offspring in the class for 6-year-old horses on 29 May: Bangkok VL (by Bubalu VDL) jumped to victory under Marine Scauflaire (BEL) with a clear round in 81.05 seconds. The Bubalu daughter is bred by Laszlo Vincze.
