Grand Slam VDL and Marlon Modolo Zanotelli win 2* Grand Prix in Valkenswaard
VALKENSWAARD - Grand Slam VDL (Cardento (Elite) x Heartbreaker) and Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) achieved a great victory in the CSI2* 1.45m-Grand Prix in Valkenswaard (NED).
VDL Edgar M (Arezzo x Marlon) finished a fantastic fourth in the 5* Grand Prix over 1.60m with Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA). Again the son of Arezzo showed that he is one of the best showjumpers in the world. E. & M. Meijer bred the 13-year-old chestnut gelding.
Harwich VDL (Arezzo x Darco), born an raised at the VDL Stud, also showed his qualities under Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and finished 6th and 8th in the 1.55m classes.
Danish rider Andreas Schou won the CSI5* 1.55m class with 11-year-old mare Granate (Baltic VDL x Indoctro), bred by Chr. M. Snepvangers from Bergen op Zoom.
