MECHELEN - Hallilea (Zirocco Blue x Larome) and Lars Kersten (NED) were double clear in the CSI5*-W competition over 1.50m in Mechelen (BEL) and took a stunning victory with a fast barracks time. Pieter Kersten (NED) bred Halilea, who also showed a lot in 2022.
The two-star competition in Mechelen brought more great results:
Eldorrado MVNZ (Cardento x Emilion) and Lieven Devos (BEL) came second in the 1.35m. In another 1.35m class, this combination came third. Mount View Sport Horses NZ (NZ) bred Eldorrado MVNZ.
Kalvados Keros (Arezzo x Ideal de la Loge) and Belgian junior rider Seppe Wouters came third in the CSIYJ-A 1.35m class. Kalvados Keros was bred by Keros NV (BEL).
Kobalt (Harley x Indorado), ridden by Siebe Leemans (NED), finished fifth in this competition. Kobalt and Leemans also finished fourth once in a CSIYJ-A class over 1.35m.
Mrs Van De Lande-Van den Berg (NED) bred the seven-year-old Kobalt.
