In the tough 1.55m Grand Prix of Geesteren, homebred Icoon vdl (Bubalu x Cardento, mare B-Dame VDL) was the first combination after 40 starters to jump a clear round. Out of a total of 48 starts, 3 combinations ended up in the jump-off. Icoon VDL and Hessel Hoekstra had the fastest time, but one pole down put them in second place, a top result! Icoon VDL we own together with Stal Wiefferink.
Jur Vrieling and our approved stallion Kallmar VDL also did good business in Twente, on Saturday they won the 1.35m Small Tour Final and on Friday they also finished 7th in a 1.35m class with a clear round.
In the 1.45m 2* Grand Prix there was a 3rd place for the 8-year-old Jolita (Arezzo x Quasimodo Z), ridden by Annelies Vorsselmans. Bas Moerings placed 6th in this class with the Cardento-son Jesther.
