Isis (by Cardento) wins Nations Cup in Dublin

DUBLIN – Several VDL offspring stood out during the international show jumping competition in Dublin (7–10 August 2025). Isis (by Cardento) and Frank Schuttert won the Nations Cup with the team. The Cardento daughter is bred in Nieuwleusen by H.N. de Boer.

On Thursday in the CSIO5* (1.60m), Imperial HBF (by Glasgow vh Merelsnest) finished in an impressive second place with Mclain Ward (USA). The Glasgow vh Merelsnest daughter, bred by L.J. Tinto, has already won more than half a million in prize money.

In the Speed Championship (1.50m) on Sunday, Commandant Geoff Curran (IRL) took the victory with DHF Alliance (by Douglas). The Douglas daughter, bred by Mr. Paul Douglas, proved unbeatable with a time of 60.57 seconds.

In the 7-year-old class (1.40m), Netflix VK (by Zirocco Blue), bred by Stoeterij Van Kleef, finished fourth among the 7-year-olds under Max O'Reilly Hyland (IRL). Fellow countrywoman Emma O'Dwyer rode Dougie Drea (by Douglas) to eighth place. The 8-year-old Douglas son is bred by Victoria Foster. M.Adermie RJ (by Falaise de Muze) with Pedro Junqueira Muylaert (BRA) also finished fourth among the 8-year-olds. The daughter of Falaise de Muze is bred by H. Ebbinge.

The results once again confirm the international class of VDL bloodlines at the highest level.
