Jourdain VDL 2nd in 1.45m and Louay Fortuna wins 1.35m GP in Exloo

Our horses were in shape during CSI Exloo. Jourdain VDL (Zapatero x Darco) and Alex David Gill placed 2nd in the 1.45m Grand Prix. In addition, they were placed twice; a 6th place on Friday in the 1.45m class and on Thursday there was a 2nd place in the 1.40m class.

Stable mate Louay Fortuna took victory under Luke Hill in the 1.35m Grand Prix of Exloo, a super performance by the Cohinoor-son bred by the Rinkes-Tjeenk Willink fam. VDL Legodermus PP (Harley x Clinton) finished in 2nd place, ridden by Hessel Hoekstra.

Alex David Gill was also successful with Kelton VDL (Bubalu x Corland). Kelton VDL won the 1.40m class on Thursday and finished in another 1.40m on a nice 2nd place.

Our stallion For Friendship VDL was placed with Wesley de Boer, they placed 5th in a 1.30m class.

Several classes were won by descendants of our stallions:
- Icarus LH (Etoulon x Voltaire) won the final of the Medium Tour with rider Sanne Vermeulen
- Idaloma (Zirocco Blue x Verdi), the sister of our stallion Maximus VDL, won a 1.40m class with Daan van Geel.
- Jesther (Cardento x Guidam), ridden by Bas Moerings, won a 1.40m class.
- Ivory MBF (Quasimodo vd Molendreef x Silvio II), ridden by Eva Kapteijn won a 1.10m class.
