EEXT - Merlot VDL, this year's performance topper at the KWPN, has again delivered a great showpiece. Riddle (Merlot x Santano), bred by M. Roelandschap and J.Emmens from Bunne, became champion of the dressage foals in Eext. Riddle convinced with his convincing movements and was declared champion in a group of attractive dressage foals.
Rosé-D (Merlot VDL x Aqiedo), bred by K. Duursma from Schoonebeek, came second at the foal inspection in Wachtum, Drenthe.
With three nines and a total of 85.5 points, the four-year-old Merlot VDL (Bordeaux x Florencio), owned by the VDL Stud and Saskia van Musscher, achieved the highest score in the KWPN spring test earlier this year.
