Last Friday VDL Glasgow vt Merelsnest and Jur Vrieling finished with the Dutch Showjumping team in 3rd place in the Nations Cup of Rome. VDL Glasgow and Jur jumped a fantastic clear round in the 2nd round of the class. In the Grand Prix they finished in 12th place.
Homebred Holanda VDL (Boss x Baloubet du Rouet) became with the Italian rider Andrea Messersi 2
nd in a 1.40m class. Holanda VDL was sold as a foal in the Wolden Summer Sale.
Jeroen Dubbeldam placed two times high with the Zirocco Blue-son Donjo. They placed 4th and 8th in 1.45m classes. Another succesful offspring by Zirocco Blue in Rome was the mare Halo. With her rider Guido Franchi she placed 2nd in a 1.35m class and 3th and and 4th in a 1.40m class.
