In collaboration with Stutteri Gransbo, VDL Stud has brought Grand-Prix showjumping stallion Kasper van het Hellehof to Sweden for breeding.
Kasper van het Hellehof VDL has an impressive show jumping career behind him. With McLain Ward in the saddle, he won the San Juan Capistrano Grand Prix, was 2nd in the Thermal Grand Prix and 3rd in the Spruce Meadows Grand Prix.
Sire Emerald, under Harrie Smolders, has been among the world's most successful showjumpers for many years and was, among others, part of the Olympic team in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. In addition, Emerald won the five-star Grand Prix of Chantilly and Bordeaux, came second in the World Cup finals and jumped double clear in numerous Nations Cups. We know him as sire of many successful sport horses including Igor, Kasper van het Hellehof, Jeunesse van't Paradijs and Mandela vd Neerheide.
Next we see Nabab de Reve, who has competed at the highest international level. He has left over 70 approved sons and around 130 offspring jumping at international 1.60m level. His offspring include, for example, Glock's London, who took silver individually and as a team at the 2012 London Olympics. Nabab de Reve also produced Kashmir van Schuttershof, Glasgow-w van het Merelsnest and World Cup gold medallist Vigo d' Arsouilles.
Dam Hadise van het Hellehof brought 5 offspring in international showjumping including the stallion Mosito van het Hellehof, who competed at the 2022 World Championships in Herning.
Grandam Valentiana produced the international show jumper Canabis B. She is a half-sister of the elite stallion Action-Breaker who jumped 1.60 internationally and of the approved stallion Quasimodo van de Molendreef who also jumped 1.60.
