The Klinkhamer-bred Verstappen LK (by Raikkonen) was crowned champion among the showjumping foals at the foal show in Exloo. The son of the premium stallion Raikkonen, also bred by Klinkhamer, received the following jury comment: "An appealing and high-legged foal with a lot of blood expression. In the trot he was slightly quick due to tension, but in the canter he showed a lot of balance and good use of the hind leg."
The reserve champion was Varanna (by Carrera). The Carrera daughter bred by A. Veenhof is an athletically built filly with a real mare's expression and lots of front.
For Klinkhamer, there was also success among the dressage foals. For example, the Barton daughter Vinca-Vrouwe was reserve champion. "An appealing and strongly built filly, with sufficient length and also a correct foundation. She trotted very actively, making plenty of posture. Her canter was uphill and in it she could change very easily".
Finally, in Oosterhesselen there was success for Varona O'Hesseln, the Mindset daughter managed to finish in a nice third place. The Mindset filly bred by M. Kienecker received the following comments from the judges: "A sufficiently developed filly, well in the right angle model and also athletically built. She trotted with a lot of suppleness cantered with extra power, daer she could change very easily."
All were placed for the central inspection.
