FALSTERBO - Zuccero (Zirocco Blue x Caretino 2), ridden by Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE), has won the CSI3* over 1.40 m in Falsterbo. The combination finished second in the 1.45m.
Zuccero was bred by Hanno Koehnke from Badendorf (GER).
Granito Noordenhoek (Corland x Cash) and Niels Kersten (NED) placed third in 1.45. Earlier this year, Granito Noordenhoek and Kersten achieved an impressive fourth place in the CSI3* over 1.45m in Vilamoura (POR).
Zeppe Blue (Zirocco Blue x Casantos) was also successful with Leon Thijssen (NED) and finished sixth.
Flip's Little Sparrow (Cardento x Robin Z) and Stephanie Holmén (SWE) finished second in the 1.45m class. This horse, of which we have seen successful results before, was bred by Kristina Larsson, Rottneros (SWE).
In the Torstensons Ungdoms Grand Prix there was a fifth place for Hero (Glasgow v/h Merelsnest x Voltaire) and rider Izebelle Stolth (SWE).
Zinnie (Gisborne VDL x Cortez), previously champion of the three-year-old jumping mares in Sweden, was clear in the four-year-olds under Evelin Lavén (SWE). Zinnie was bred by Lars Ake Persson and Ann Laven.
The same was true for Vazall (Zavall VDL x Levantos) and Magnus Johansson and Mica (Dallas VDL x Aerobic) under Mano de Boer (SWE). Da Winti Uno's Z (Dallas VDL x Up Chiqui) and Nathalie Petersson also scored a clear round to their name.
In the final for four-year-olds, Mica (Dallas VDL x Aerobic) under Mano de Boer (SWE) was sixth and
Desert Rose (Dakar VDL x A-Dur) under Julie Carlberg seventh.
In the class for five-year-olds, Liza Larena (Baltic x Nimmerdor) jumped a clear round under rider Isa Hjortsäter, as did Lyandro MDB (Grand Slam x Ahorn) ridden by Marcus Westergren (SWE). In another young horse class, Lyandro MDB and Westergren as well as Liza Larena and Hjortsäter again managed to set clear rounds. Leyira (Glenfiddich VDL x Solitair) and rider Sandra Carlsson were also double clear.
The final for the five-year-olds gave Evolution Ask (Zirocco Blue VDL x Tannenhofs Cheenook) and Karen Moeller Rohde (DEN) second place. Fortunate Son (Comfortuna VDL x Feliciano 823) and Andre Brandt (SWE) were fifth. Ludo DV (Arezzo VDL x Goodtimes) and Jörgen Larsson finished seventh and Leyira (Glenfiddich VDL x Solitair) and rider Sandra Carlsson eighth.
Stenhaga Fru Hallberg (Corporal x Arezzo) and Frederik Hasselberg were clear in the young horse class for six-year-olds.
Explorer E (Elliot VDLx Lasandos) and Emma Emanuelsson also did well in the 1.30m class for six-year-olds. They won a semifinal. In the final for six-year-olds, this combination finished in third place.
Jumper d'Oase (Cardento x Vigo d'Arsouilles) and Peder Fredericson (SWE) won a semifinal for the seven-year-olds and were third once.
In the final for seven-year-olds, four of the six prizes were for VDL descendants.
Joe (Etoulon VDL x Amadeus) and Robin Ingvarsson (SWE) were second with a double clear round and a fast time. Ab's Classic Blue (Zirocco Blue x Cacao Courcelle) and Erik Preben Strand (NOR) came in third. Jolene AK (Glasgow v/h Merelsnest x Heartbreaker) and Stephanie Holmén (SWE) came close behind and finished fourth. Jumper d'Oase (Cardento x Vigo d'Arsouilles) and Peder Fredericson (SWE) finally finished fifth in the seven-year-olds.
In the Children's competition, Cincinnati (Cardento x Landor S) was third with the young rider Alicia Jönberg.
