MILL SPRING, USA - Wittinger VDL (Indoctro x Nimmerdor) finished second under Amanda Flint in the Mill Spring Grand Prix.
Only two combinations managed to stay double clear. With a jump-off in 34.08 seconds, Wittinger VDL and his rider took a nice second place. Wittinger VDL was bred by A.J. Hazenberg from Opende.
We also frequently see the descendants of Wittinger VDL on the podium in the USA, among others.
Recently Eos (by Wittinger VDL x Navarone) and Robyn Walker (CAN) finished fourth in the 1.30m in Thermal. Another Wittinger VDL, Skyliner (by Wittinger VDL x Neckar) and Lauren Flather (USA) rode to the second position in the 1.40m. Firefly (by Wittinger VDL x Corland) and Sergio Nieto del Rio (MEX) came eighth in the Wellington Grand Prix. Dexter (Wittinger VDL x Heartbreaker) finished fourth in the 1 * Grand Prix in Valencia earlier this year. The thirteen-year-old Dexter is under the saddle of the Swedish Antonia Andersson and was bred by T. Goumans-Hermus from Smakt.
