BRIDGEHAMPTON NY - Erdento van de Leeuwerk (Cardento x Marlon) has won the 1.60m in Bridgehampton NY (USA). Jet Blue (Zirocco Blue x Indoctro) and Carly Anthony (USA) finished fifth in this competition.
Ideal (Cardento x Cortez I) and Shane Sweetnam (IRL) claimed the CSI3* Grand Prix over 1.50m in Traverse City. Dougie Douglas (by Douglas x High Roller) and Katherine Dinan (USA) came in third. Fantasy BB (Cardento x Indorado), auctioned a few years ago at Jumping Amsterdam for a top price of € 380,000, finished fourth in the Grand Prix under Jonathan McCrea and second in the 1.45m.
Dubai (Cardento x Kastello) and Samuel Parot (CHI) finished second in the 1.45m in Saugerties. Dubai was bred by J. van Gestel from Hilvarenbeek and this year also participated in the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
I Mose VLS (Harley x Chin Chin) and rider Sarah Segal (USA) also won the class in the 1.30m in Saugerties NY.
In Traverse City, Favoriet U (Arezzo VDL x Ukato) under Jonathon Millar (USA) became first in the 1.40m.
Glen (Zirocco Blue VDL x Julio Mariner), bred by Henk Coenen, Heijen (NED) and ridden by Jonathan McCrea (USA), was second in another 1.40m class.
A great result also for Donjo (Zirocco Blue x Ahorn) and Hyde Mofatt (CAN) in Calgary, Spruce Meadows: the successful combination finished second in the CSI3* competition over 1.45m.
