The 2026 breeding season is drawing to a close. If, unfortunately, you were unable to get your mare in foal this year, please do not forget to send us your statement from the vet before the 1st of Ocotber at the latest.

Have we not yet received your mare’s full details? If so, please email them to info@vdlstud.com as soon as possible.

 

Please include the following:

• Mare’s name
• Studbook number
• Microchip number
• Date of birth
• Sire
• Maternal grandsire

Important information regarding embryos / ICSI

The following applies to mare owners who have used embryo transfer or ICSI:

Please submit a summary, drawn up and signed by the vet or the ET centre, before 1 October.

 

For each mare, please state:

• the number of flushing procedures;
• the number of successful embryos / ICSI procedures.
• If the embryo transfer or ICSI was unsuccessful, this summary – provided this is clearly stated – also serves as a declaration of non-pregnancy.
