Orestus VDL (Indoctro x G.Ramiro Z) was one of the winners of the Puissance jumping at the International Horse Show of Madrid. The 9-years old stallion, who is ridden by Gerfried Puck, was one of the 6 horses who made it to the final 3rd round. Orestus VDL was also one time 9th in a 1.40 m class against the clock. The stallion is bred and owned by the VDL Stud.

Another succesful breeding-product of the VDL Stud was the gelding Nordico (Quat'Sous x Jalisco B). The gelding, who is ridden Luis Alvarez Cervera, was 4th in the Grand Prix of Madrid and 4th in a 1.40 m class. Nordico is now owned by LAC International S.A. 

The Emilion-mare Karina was one of the most succesful horses in Madrid. The mare, who is ridden by Robert Whitaker, competed in 5 classes and was placed in all of them. She won a 1.45  m class on Friday, was 7th on Thursday, 4th on Saturday and on Sunday she was 2 times 3rd.

The Indoctro-son Onyx, ridden by Alfredo Fernandez-Duran, was 4th in a 1.40 m class against the clock.
