The approved stallion VDL Orame (Indoctro x Ramiro x Alme) is going to compete with American's top rider Chris Kappler in the United States.
VDL Orame was approved as a 3 years old stallion and was the first stallion who became Champion of the KWPN Stallioninspection and Champion of the Stalliontest. VDL Orame competed very successful with the International rider Jur Vrieling. They competed at 11 Grand Prix and out of this 11 times competing he was 8 times placed with the best 8 competors.
VDL Orame is sold for a part to a syndicate of sponsors of the Olympic rider Chris Kappler. Chris Kappler also rides already VDL Oranta and with VDL Orame he now again has a top horse from the VDL Stud. The VDL Stud will still be the owner of VDL Orame for the biggest part. VDL Orame is an important breeding stallion for the VDL Stud, his oldest offspring are now 4 and 5 years old and they do very well at the horse shows. He has bred a lot of mares and also now there is a lot of request for Orame. Chris Kappler showed his interest in the beautiful stallion and the VDL Stud want to give Orame the chance to compete at the highest International level. With Chris Kappler Orame has the opportunity to compete at biggest horse shows and championships at the world. Breeding with Orame is still possible, the VDL Stud has frozen semen available. After his jumping career Orame will return to the VDL stud again for breeding. VDL Orame is approved by the following studbooks: KWPN, UNIRE, SWA and the AHHA.
