�There were Champions for the VDL Stud at the National Mareshow in Ermelo:

Welena VDL (Chin Chin x Helena VDL f. Ahorn) became Dutch Champion of the Free Jumping, 2nd place was for Well Born Rilexy (Chin Chin x Indoctro), owned by Mrs. Louise Tomkens. Well Born Riley was bred by mr. H. Dijkstra and the VDL Stud. The 5th place in the Free Jumping Championship was for the mare Watch Me B (Indoctro x Ircolando), owned by the Vdlstud. The 6th place was for the Hold up Premier-mare Wasamorka, bred and owned by the fam. Zwaving from Nieuw Weerdinge.

Welena VDL became 2nd at Championship for 3-years old mares showed by hand, Well Born Rilexy became 3rd. At the 5th place was Windependence VDL (Sheraton x Corland), bred and owned by mr. Barsema from Winsum and at the 6th place was the Indoctro-mare Wencke, bred and owned by mr. Bouwmans from Griendtsveen. The 7th place was for the Chin Chin-mare Wacamorka, bred by the fam. Zwaving and owned together with the VDL Stud.

Vamina VDL (Orame x Jamina VDL, f. Lord) became Champion of the Keur and Elite mares. Second place was for the Indorado-mare Umora owned by the fam. Bosman - van de Most.

In the Championship of the Dressage Foals there was a 3rd place for Beatrice VDL (Prestige VDL x L'Actrice), bred and owned by the VDL Stud. The 5th and 6th place were for offspring by Flemmingh:
At the 5th place was Bantana V, bred and owned by P. J. Verdellen from Horst;
At the 6th place was Barclay V, bred and owned by J. Venema from Gieten.
