There were good results by VDL stallions and offspring of VDL stallions at the International Horse Show of Capricho 2006 in Argentinie.

Competing for the team of the USA: VDL Orame (Indoctro x Ramiro), ridden by Chris Kappler and Orina (Nimmerdor x Ramiro), ridden by Brianne Goutal. With the American team they were winning the Nations Cup. Both horses come from the VDL Stud, Onira is sold as a young horse to America, he is bred in Holland by P. Wolters from Broeksterwoude and VDL Orame left Holland this spring to be ridden by Chris Kappler. |

Competing for The Brazilian Team: VDL Nantes (Emilion x Cantus) and Dennis Gouvea. With the Brazilian team VDL Nantes received the 3rd place in the Nations Cup. They also were placed 8th in the Grand Prix. With these results VDL Nantes is now qualified for the World Cup final in Las Vegas 2007. VDL Nantes is bred at the VDL Stud and sold to Brazil by the VDL Stud.

| Competing for the Swedish team: the approved stallion VDL Casa Grande and Jens Fredricson. With the Swedish team he was winner of the 3rd place in the Nations Cup. Also in the individual classes VDL Casa Grande was jumping clear rounds as was placed high.

VDL Casa Grande & Jens Fredricson The 6th place in The Grand Prix of El Capricho was for VDL Olympia, ridden by Jose Luiz Guimaraes de Carvalho.
