This weekend we lost suddenly our stallion Landlord, probably through a heart-attack.

Landlord (Landgraf I x Rushing Waters xx) became 24 years old, and at this age he still was a beautiful and correct stallion. When he was 2,5 years old he was Champion of the Holsteiner Stallion Selections. After breeding sucesfully in Germany for a couple of years he went to Sweden where he was also succesfull. There he was titled 'Elite' and had a very high breedingindex.

Landlord sired many approved stallions and international jumpers, like Lanz, Land�s End, Culord, De Landfee and Lukas. His most famous son was Lianos, who became with Rodrigo Pessoa World Champion in 1998.

The VDL Stud imported Landlord 3 years ago to Holland. Until now he has brought beautiful, long legged foals with a lot of expression and very good movements. His frozen semen will still be available at the VDL Stud. Landlord became 24 years old.
