This weekend the finals of 'Young Jumper Championships' of the American Eastcoast were ridden at the The Hampton Classic International Horse Show. Offspring of VDL Stallions performed very well.
Champion of the 7- and 8 year old jumpers became Carneyhaugh Manx, an offspring of Douglas, ridden by Schuyler Riley. Placed 3rd was Andretti (Orame x Ahorn), also ridden by Schuyler Riley.
The finals of the 6 year old jumpers was won by the Emilion-son Bilion and his rider Jeffery Welles, placed 5th was Bretagne VDL (Cardento x Indorado), ridden by Shane Sweetnam.
In the Championship of the 5-year old jumpers Chester VDL (Silverstone x Matterhorn), placed 2nd. He was ridden by Santos La Marca. Chester VDL was sold in the VDL auction at Ocala in 2011.
