At the Starsale foalauction in Drachten the filly  Ilena VDL (Arezzo x Quick Star)  became the topseller of the auction. Ilena VDL was sold for € 15.000 to the Irish toprider Cameron Hanley. Ilena VDL is a charming filly with exclusive bloodlines.  She descends from the talented son of Chin Chin: Arezzo VDL, who is jumping international with Jessica Kuerten. On motherside we find the famous mare Helena VDL, who we all know as mother of the international Grand Prix jumper  Southwind VDL and as grandmother of Freeman VDL, the Champion of the KWPN Stalllion approvals.
