Last Saturday the Friesian Championship took place and there were great results for VDL horses and for offspring of VDL stallions.

The Zangersheide approved stallion Carrera VDL (Cardento x Baloubet du Rouet) was 4th in the 1.35m Championship and Bowmore VDL (Chin Chin x Cantus) placed 5th. Both stallions are ridden by James Billington. Placed 7th was  Heechhiem's Zorado (by Indorado), ridden by  Folkert Kelderman and Petra van der Lei with  Bright Lady (v. Carolus II) placed 8th in the 1.35m class.

Offspring of Indoctro were ruling the 1.30m Championship as they placed 1st , 2nd  and 3rd. Champion was  Altamira, ridden by  Hans de Vries. Reservechampion was  Wyrike B, ridden by  Nella Bijlsma  and in 3rd place finished the Indoctro-daughter Denolia, ridden by Hester Klompmaker. More good results in the 1.30m Championship were there for:
5th Celena VDL (by  Mr. Blue), ridden by James Billington;
6th Heechhiem's Adorado (by Indorado), ridden by Joukje van der Meer;
8th Ulac de Montsec VDL (by Chin Chin), ridden by  Nick van den Broek.

Also in the 1.20m Championship there were offspring of VDL stallions in the top 3: Champion was Darina (by Cardento), ridden by  Folkert Kelderman. Reservechampion was Dyango VDL (by  Zapatero), ridden by  Kiefer Dawson Stanley  and placed 3rd was Dominka (by Harley), ridden by  Henny Tolsma. More good results in the 1.30m Championship were there for:
6th Daylight VDL (by Baloubet du Rouet), ridden by Kiefer Dawson Stanley;
8th Dimitrie VDL (by Zirocco Blue), ridden by  Enrique Borbolla;
10th VDL De Blue (by  Mr. Blue), ridden by Nick van der Broek.

In the 1.10m Championship Beauwaniki WH (by Cardento)  was Reservechampion with his rider Martin Sterk. Placed 3rd  was The Countryman HH (by Wittinger VDL), ridden by Rensche de Haan and Dakietta (by Vermont),  ridden by  Denny Olde Agterhuis. finished in 4th place
