Chin Quidam VDL (s. Chin Chin) and his rider Darragh Kenny from Ireland competed in a competition for seven and eight year old show jumpers. They were clear in all rounds and they won the first two rounds. They were also clear in the final and jump-off which resulted in a great second place.

In the same competition, the mare Hello M’Lady (s. Indoctro) was placed as sixth. Hello M’Lady was ridden by Scott Brash (GBR). Javas Keltic Mist (s. Douglas) also competed in this competition and was placed as second in the first round. In the finals they were placed as ninth. Javas Keltic Mist was ridden by Greg Broderick (IRL)

There were good results for offspring of VDL Stallions in the Grand Prix of CSI Dublin:
- The full brother of Bacardi VDL, Apardi (s. Corland), was placed as sixth and was ridden by Daniel Bluman (COL)
- Cafino (s. Cardento) was placed as seventh. Cafino was ridden by Alexander Zetterman (SWE)
- Caribo (s. Cardento) was placed as tenth. Caribo was ridden by Thomas Ryan (IRL)

Hello Sanctos (s. Quasimodo van de Molendreef) and his rider Scott Brash competed for Great Brittain and they were placed as second.
Ukraine and Sweden were equally placed as third:
- Valentino Velvet (s. Indoctro) and rider Alexander Onischenko competed for Ukraine
- Lunatic (s. Landlord) and rider Jens Fredericson competed for the Swedish Team

Imothep (s. Indoctro) and Darragh Kenny competed for the Irish team. They had two great rounds and they had the best results in the Irish team.

- 8th in a 1.45m: Carat (s. Cardento) ridden by Robert Vos (NED)
- 3rd in a 1.50m: Chasmo (s. Chin Chin) ridden by Patrick Styehlmeyer (GER)
- 9th in a 1.50m: Interline H (s. Indoctro) ridden by Robert Vos (NED)
- 10th in a 1.50m/1.60m: Labor’s Wonderboy (s. Indoctro) ridden by Wout-Jan van der Schans.
- 6th in Puissance: Dollanstown (s. Douglas) ridden by Michael Kelly (IRL)
