Watch me (Cantos x Wolfgang) wom the 1.45m competition during CSI Bonheiden. Watch me was ridden by Michael van den Bosch. Welfare (Pacific x Zortin) was placed as second in this competition and he also won a 1.35m competition. Welfare was ridden by Andrew Ramsay.

Andrew Ramsay also rode Winn Winn (Chin Chin x Wagenaar), they won twice a 1.40m competition during CSI Bonheiden.
Harley (s. Harley) and rider Pilar Cordon from Spain were placed as second in a 1.40m competition.

Vincent Geerink and Torino (Indoctro x Ahorn) was twice placed as third in 1.30m competitions.

There were also placings for offspring of VDL Stallions in competitions for young showjumpers:
- Placed 1st and 7th in a competitions for 7-year old showjumpers: Icarus (Douglas x Sioux de Baugy) and Jessica Geurts
- 1st in a competition for 7-year old showjumpers: I’m Purdy de Laubry (Corland x Prince Royal) and Catherine Offner
- 2nd in a competiton for 7-year old showjumpers: Jasmijn van de Renthoeve (Douglas x Baloubet du Rouet) and Wim Vinckx
