Yesterday was the final day of the jumping stallions at the KWPN Stallion Show in Den Bosch. Three VDL stallions were choosen as Premium Stallions. Among them was reserve champion Ti Amo B (by Carrera), bred by B. Booijink from Luttenberg. ‘Ti Amo B is also a real eye-catcher, combining a youthful model with a light-footed canter and very good technique on the jump,’ said Wout-Jan van der Schans.
In addition, Street Sense VDL from the first crop of Sambucci de Muze was also awarded as Premium Stallion. The Sambucci de Muze son, bred out of Nena Roos VDL (by Zirocco Blue), impressed with his athletic ability and very good jump. He is bred by VDL Stud.
Elroy Field (by Emerald van 't Ruytershof) is the third stallion to be awarded with the title Premium Stallion. The stallion, bred by the Koerhuis family, is genetically very interesting and has a very good canter, great balance, technique and jump.
