In the young horses class, two Comthago offspring and one Cohinoor enjoyed success. Nijerite (by Comthago) won the final of the 7-year-old class on Sunday. Together with Marriet Smit-Hoekstra, the duo also achieved a fine second place on Wednesday. The Comthago daughter is bred by Mts. J.J. & D.P. Reitsma. Sixth place on Sunday went to Nilenè (by Cohinoor) with Elli Goldberg. The daughter of Cohinoor is bred by M. Janssen. On Saturday, success came for the Comthago offspring Nisther K, bred by P.J.A.M. Kommers, who finished in fourth place with Maikel van der Vleuten.
Marriet Smit-Hoekstra had even more success with a VDL offspring. Riding Maggie May (by Zirocco Blue), she claimed second place in the 1.35m on Wednesday and victory in the 1.40m on Friday. The Zirocco Blue daughter is bred by J. Vrieling.
The 1.45m on Thursday was won by Jaguar (by Harley) and Jake Ward. The pair managed to stay clear and set the fastest time. E.H. Schröder-Flonk is the breeder of the Harley son.
