In Italy, the VDL offspring proved to be in top form. For example, the Dallas offspring Jiniki won the 4* 1.45m in Gorla Minore twice. Jiniki (by Dallas) is bred by G. Scheper and is successfully ridden by Hans-Dieter Dreher.
In the 4* 1.40m in Gorla Minore, victory went to Karel Doorman (by Dakar) and Edouard Schmitz. The duo also managed to stay clear in the jump-off on Sunday and take the class to their name. The Dakar son is bred by J. Poppen.
Tinkerbell (by Comthago) proved to be in top form in the 6-year-old class. As such, the young Comthago managed to win the class on Friday and a nice second place on Thursday and Saturday. Tinkerbell (by Comthago) is bred by J.A.J. van Zon and is ridden by Julia Kogelnig.
In the Grand Prix of Gorla Minore, there was a nice fifth place for BBS McGregor (by Cardento) and Abdullah Mohd Al Marri. With as many as 15 competitors in the jump-off, the Marguerite Ryan-bred Cardento also managed to stay clear and take 5th place.
In Arezzo, Normandy du Bois (by Indoctro) managed to finish in the top 3 in the 1* 1.30m for three days. Thus, the Indoctro son with Salvatore Caccamo finished first on Thursday, second on Friday and third on Saturday.
On Friday, victory in the 1* 1.30m went to Ilonblue F (by Zirocco Blue) and Gabriele Romano. H. Fabrie is the breeder of the Zirocco Blue son.
Linked horses
