BISKUPIEC - There were great results last weekend in Biskupiec (POL) and La Coruña (ESP), with the descendants of Harley doing particularly well.
Ivita (Harley VDL x Corland) and Kristupas Petraitis (LTU) finished fourth in the CSI2* Grand Prix over 1.45m. Stal Krol (NED) bred the nine-year-old chestnut mare.
High Boots D'ive Z (Harley VDL x Darco) and Julia Blaszczak (POL) won the 1.35m. In the young horse classes for seven-year-olds over 1.30m, the combination finished third once and fifth. Keberlina H. (Zirocco Blue VDL x Wittinger VDL), ridden by Matas Petraitis (LTU), won this class and was second in another class in the same class. J. Hazenberg (NED) bred this mare.
Fourth was Kasparov A (Dakar VDL x Indoctro), ridden by Szymon Tecza (POL) and bred by J.A.M. Althuyzen (NED).
The mare Ayleen D'ive Z (Arezzo VDL x Mr Blue) and Wojciech Wojcianiec (POL) won the CSIYH1* among the six-year-olds. High Boots D'ive Z and and Julia Blaszczak were fifth in this class.
Ayleen D'ive Z and Wojciech Wojcianiec (POL) came second in another young horse class over 1.25m.
Isabelle Van Eeckhout/ Stal d'Ive (BEL) bred both Ayleen D'ive Z and High Boots D'ive Z.
In the six-year-olds Corazzi (Grand Slam VDL x Eldorado Van De Zeshoek Tn) was unbeatable under Mateusz Tyszko (POL). Ewa Fabińska (POL) bred the bay gelding.
In La Coruna Fame (Harley VDL x Investment), ridden by Richard Howley (IRL), won the CSI4* over 1.45m. M.P. Toering (NED) bred the twelve-year-old Fame, who is very creditably released by Howley.
