WELLINGTON - Katanga van het Dingeshof (by Cardento x Tornado) and the Belgian rider Nicola Philippaerts have claimed third place in the CSI3 NetJets Grand Prix in Wellington, USA. Philippaerts, who considers the mare one of his best horses, was twice clear and rode a fast jump-off.

Kilkenny (by Cardento x Guidam) came fourth with the Irishman Cian O'Connor.
Fourteen-year-old Skara Glen's Machu Picchu (by Silverstone x Matterhorn), ridden by Paul O'Shea, finished tenth. Skara Glen's Machu Picchu was sold in 2011 during the WEF Sport Horse Auction in Wellington, organized annually by the VDL Stud, as Chester VDL and has since been very successful in the USA.
