Sambucci de Muze, Night Life VDL and Onno VDL stood out for their way of jumping in the finals of the World Championships at Lanaken. 
Also the VDL offspring made a good impression at the World Championships for Young Showjumpers at Lanaken. At least 5 of the finalists were born in our stables. 

From our mare Zoklahoma (Emilion x Baloubet du Rouet), two offspring competed; Onno VDL (by Apardi) and Luke Hill started in the final of the 5-year-olds and McAllister VDL (by Inaico) with Jur Vrieling were qualified for the final of the 7-year-olds.

Night Life VDL, Erco van ‘t Roosakker out of the Arezzo mare Ialba VDL, jumped in the final of the 6-year-olds with Alex David Gill and Oe'Alba , a Carrera out of the Harley mare Healba, competed in the final of the 5-year-olds with Giovanni Consorti. Both horses are from the line of Galoubet mare Re'Álba who we also know as grandmother of the 1.60m Grand-Prix show jumpers Harwich VDL and Jourdain VDL.

Another finalist born in Bears was Mendoza VDL, a son of Harley out of the Cardento mare B-Dame VDL. Mendoza VDL is a younger brother of the Grand Prix horse Rock of Cashel (Icon VDL).
