During the international show in London, the VDL stallions Mindset and Comthago delivered outstanding performances across the various jumping classes. In the iconic indoor arena, which traditionally attracts an exceptionally strong field of competitors, both stallions demonstrated their quality and attitude at the very highest level.
Comthago achieved an excellent 7th place in the 1.60m World Cup class.
Mindset also made a strong impression, finishing three times in the top five: twice 5th and once 4th in the 1.50m classes. An exceptional result for the stallion, who made his 5★ show debut in London.
Both stallions were successfully ridden by Hessel Hoekstra.
In addition to these strong performances, excellent results were also achieved in the CSI5-W Turkish Airlines Grand Prix (1.60m)* by offspring of our stallions.
Igor GPH (Harley VDL x Crawford) finished in an impressive 2nd place under Kara Chad (CAN), following a faultless jump-off in 33.64 seconds. Igor GPH was bred by the Angenent family.
Furthermore, Just Special VK (by Falaise de Muze) placed 9th with Gaëtan Joliat (SUI). This horse was bred by Stoeterij van Kleef (Ede, The Netherlands).
