Last Sunday, Comthago VDL competed in the Grand Prix of Kessel. Together with Hessel Hoekstra the duo managed to qualify for the jump-off. Also in the jump-off the Comme il Faut son Comthago convincingly stayed clear and finished in a great 5th place. Comthago VDL is bred by Wilhelm Kochs. Igor GPH (by Harley) also managed to qualify for the jump-off and finished in 9th place. The Harley son is bred by GPH stud and ridden by Kara Chad.
In the 1.40m class, there was also success for Jignipes Eickenrode (by Zirocco Blue) with Dennis van den Brink. The Zirocco Blue son is bred in Kootwijkerbroek by J. van der Waaij.
In the 1* 1.40m Grand Prix of Kessel, Kordon VDL (by Glenfiddich) managed to finish in the top 3. With Amke Bekhuis in the saddle, they also managed to stay clear in the jump-off in a time of 35.35 seconds. P. & A.M. Rinkes-Tjeenk Willink are the breeders of the Glenfiddich son. 6th place went to Loekie-Douglas (by Douglas) and Hilde Woudstra. The Douglas daughter is bred by VOF Platenkamp & Evenhuis Services.
