WELLINGTON - Eddie Blue (by Zirocco Blue x Marlon) and Devin Ryan (USA) have achieved a nice third place in the 1.60m Grand Prix in Wellington. Last November, Eddie Blue also won the Lexington 4 * Grand Prix. Earlier that year, the successful gray gelding finished third in the Longines FEI World Cup in Wellington.
Donjo (by Zirocco Blue x Ahorn) and Hyde Mofatt (CAN) finished fifth in the 1.45m. Last week the combination was already in the spotlight at the busy show.
Gideon (by Arezzo VDL x Matterhorn) and Laura Chapot (USA) rode to second place in the 1.35m class.
In the Medium Amateur Owner Jumper Classic over 1.35m there was a nice second place for Camillo VDL (by Douglas x Baloubet du Rouet) and Jean Sheptoff (USA). The same competition over 1.30m resulted in a fourth place for Di Vadine (by Corland x Chin Chin) and Diego Loria (CRC).
In the Medium Junior Jumper class over 1.30m the seventh place was for Dundalk (by Douglas x Horace), ridden by Mark Leone (USA).
There were also great results in the 1.30m level for I Mose VLS (by Harley x Chin Chin) and rider Sarah Segal (USA). This combination came fourth, while Ibaltic (by Baltic VDL x Burggraaf), ridden by Mattias Tromp (USA), finished fifth. Ariana (by Cantos x Tolan R) and Tina Yates (USA) finished in seventh place.
In another 1.30m class there was a nice sixth place for Itottie (by Cardento x Goodtimes) and Genevieve Johns (USA).
