ST. MARGARETHEN (AUT) – Cardento offspring dominated the competition in St. Margarethen. On 10 August 2025, Markus Saurugg (AUT) won the Gold Tour – CSI2* Lavanttal Grand Prix (1m45) with Obora's Crunchy Nut (ESHb). The combination remained clear twice and finished in 45.39 seconds. The horse is bred by Gestüt Obora (CZE).
Two days earlier, Giacomo Bassi (ITA) won the Silver Tour Opening (1m35) with Lanimotren. With a clear round in 34.31 seconds, the Cardento son bred by Huub Wilms took the victory.
The results once again confirm Cardento's international top position in sport horse breeding.
