LIER - Gaesbekers Glamour Girl (by Zirocco Blue) and the Irish rider Richard Howley finished first in the CSI3* 1.45m in Lier, Belgium. Gaesbekers Glamour Girl was fourth last year at the FEI World Championship for 7-year-olds in Lanaken under rider Charlotte Bettendorf, and was also successful earlier this year in Knokke with the Slovenian rider Gaj Riossa.
In the CSIYH1* for 7-year-old horses, table A with jump-off, Valentijn de Bock finished in second place with Miu Miu van Overis (by Inshallah de Muze). Also Cohinoor VDL (by Cornet Obolensky) and James Billington were among the prize winners in this competition. In the CSIYH1* for 7-year-old horses, Table A two-phase Special, Cohinoor VDL was placed ninth by staying clear in a time of 36.34. In the CSIYH1* for 7-year-old horses, Table A against the clock, the victory was for Miu Miu van Overis (by Inshallah de Muze) and Valentijn de Bock, in a fantastic clear round and the fastest time of 65.62.
In the Grand Prix (1.50m - 1.55m) with jump-off, there was eighth place for Geste van de Vihta (by Zirocco Blue VDL) and rider Bart Clarys, a combination that also performed well last year in Lier, as well as a few weeks ago in Zandhoven. Also in the CSI3* 1.45m Table A with jump-off, Geste van de Vihta (by Zirocco Blue VDL) was successful, Bart Clarys rode a clear round with the mare and finished ninth.
In the CSI3* 1.40m there was a nice third place for Largo de Brinco (by Cardento) and the Belgian rider Gaetan Stalpaert.
