DEURNE - Hallilea (Zirocco Blue x Larome) and Lars Kersten (NED) were double clear in the CSI2* 1.45m Grand Prix in Deurne, earning a stunning second place.
In Rotterdam, in June this year, Hallilea stayed double clear in the 1.45m to finish fourth under Kersten. The striking ten-year-old grey, bred by Pieter Kersten (NED), also won the CSI2* 1.45m-Grand Prix at Grote Brogel in Belgium earlier this year.
Indence H.J. (Falaise de Muze x Carinjo HDC), bred by H. Jacobs, ridden by Joost Martens (NED), won the CSI2* competition over 1.45m in Deurne. Fajoecha (Indoctro x Baloubet du Rouet), ridden by Anne van Vulpen (NED), came second. Fajoecha was bred by J. Aegten from Bocholt BEL).
Lewandowski (Zirocco Blue x Havidoff), ridden by Alexander Vincentius (NED), won the CSIYH1* 1.20m competition for five- and six-year-olds.
Lertana VDL (Baltic VDL x Corrado I), a six-year-old mare bred by VDL Stud, came fourth.
In two other young horse classes, Lewandowski finished third and fifth. A.T. Vincentius-Mouthaan bred the six-year-old chestnut gelding.
In the seven-year-olds, Karlsson (Carrera x Concorde, bred by A and W. Wolters & H.C.C. Ongering) claimed victory under Irish rider Harry Allen.
