ABU DHABI - Hulahupe JR (Bubalu VDL x Indoctro) and Joe Whitaker (GBR) won the CSI4*-W World Cup competition over 1.55m in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
This fantastic gelding is owned by Jessica Crane and bred by the Reitsma family from Driesum (NED).
Inpulls (Dallas VDL x Indorado x Indoctro x Ahorn), ridden by Jessica Burke (IRL), won the 1.40m class. This fast and careful mare was born nine years ago in the stables of A.W. Stapel (NED).
This class brought nice results for Icaterina (Durango VDL x Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) and Joe Whitaker (GBR): they finished fifth. De Radstake BV (NED) bred the 10-year-old grey mare Icaterina.
The CSI2* Grand Prix over 1.45m produced Clown of Picobello Z (Cardento x Orlando), who we also saw achieve several great results last year, fourth under the saddle of Abdel Saïd (BEL). Picobellohorses (NED) bred this horse. Fifth was Passion van de Donkhoeve (Dallas x Kasmir van Schuttershof), ridden by Saeed Moh'd Al Maazmi (UAE). Fam. Raman (BEL) bred Passion van de Donkhoeve. In seventh place in this grand prix was Idiaal Special HJ (Falaise de Muze x Carinjo HDC) with Austrian Gerfried Puck. H. Jacobs (NED) bred Idiaal Special HJ.
The latter was good for second place in the 1.40m, while victory went to Julius D (Arezzo VDL x Emilion), ridden by Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA). Fourth was the mare Eloy (Arezzo x Sandro Boy), ridden by Hazza Hamad Khamis Saeed Aldhaheri (UAE). M. van der Bruggen (NED) bred Eloy.
Julius D (Arezzo VDL x Emilion) and Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) came second in another 1.40m class.
