Jur Vrieling achieved good results last weekend with the VDL stallions Kallmar VDL, Jardonnay VDL and Comthago VDL. Comthago VDL was previously trained by Stal Marcel de Boer and ridden in competitions by Alex David Gill. Now Jur Vrieling has taken over the reins. With Comthago VDL he jumped three clear rounds in the class for 7-year-old show jumpers. The result on Thursday was a nice 5th place.
Also with Kallmar VDL there were three clear rounds in 1.10m and 1.20m classes. On Sunday, Kallmar VDL and Jur finished in a beautiful 2nd place in the 1.20m class.
Jardonnay VDL jumped two clear rounds in 1.30m classes.
Offspring of VDL stallions were also placed in Lier: Burlington V.D.M. (Cardento x Ohorn), ridden by Martinique Gemballa, won a 1.20m class and was also 5th in another 1.20m class.
